  This video smacked me with the realization that it&apos;s not just the people consuming media that lack media literacy, but also the people MAKING it. Creators just straight up putting things in their works with out considering/understanding the meaning/contentions. The lack of self-awareness feels impossible, yet it&apos;s everywhere. The level of cognitive dissonance in our society has me reeling. It&apos;s also so frustrating, because if you point any of this out people tend to just dig in their heels even more, it&apos;s literally part of how the human brain works! So how do we even resolve this problem? No one seems to know, and it drives me up the wall.

  The funniest part of gamers who say, &quot;I&apos;m sick of politics in my video games!&quot; is that they LOVE politics in video games. They&apos;re just sick of seeing politics THEY don&apos;t agree with in video games.
