  They are undermining the core story Lewis was telling, which is that you can know God. He was teaching theology in a way children not only could understand but could experience in themselves. This is what Hollywood is trying to undermine.

  My issue with Gerwig is that she keeps being given things that are inherently wholesome and turns them bitter. I just won't watch anything with her name on it anymore.

  As a Catholic, it annoys me when someone says that they went to Catholic school, and then does some really out-there stuff. <br>Catholic schools are generally getting better, but seriously... going to Catholic school or being a former altar server does not make one an expert in Catholicism.
