  This is the sort of content the average golfer needs to see. I’m still playing low single figure handicap golf using a 9 or 10 club bag … 11.5° driver with 44’ shaft, 21° UW, 27° hybrid, 32/38/44 irons, 50/58 wedges and putter. And if it’s a longer course I’ll throw a 16.5° FW in. Rediscovered my love of the game at 57yo!!

  Recently I'd "lost" my swing.  5.6 index golfer here.  After watching one of your videos, I went and played nine holes with: Driver, 5 hybrid, 8 iron, PW, 56, Ping Chpr, and putter.  7 clubs.  Shot a -1 on a 2750 yard nine.  Best round ever via index at a .9.   This reducing clubs, playing only clubs you have confidence with, and reducing decision making is a real thing.  Dare I say, you've stumbled upon genius and it's helped this golfer immensely.  Great video, great message.  Thank you.

  I have 12 degree driver, 5,7,9 wood, 6, 7, 8 hybrid, put 9 iron in closet, just ordered the Eleven hybrid approach wedge and have Cleveland full face 58. I really like your perspective. Plus it creates a slot for the only club that pays its way— the ball retriever 😂

  I've adopted the 12 degree 44" driver and 5 wood approach. I very much enjoy hitting second shots from the fairway.

  I’m 40, on the verge of being 41 next month. Back injuries have piled up on me and I spent the last 2 months in physical therapy. I’m avoiding injections and surgery so far but I’ve given my golf setup a serious tweaking. Putting my ego aside and playing graphite shafts and more hybrids/woods is keeping me in the game.

  I am 65 y/o I played today and was 12 over par.<br>12 degree driver on a 43” senior flex shaft. &nbsp;20 degree 7 wood. 5 hybrid of 25 degree. &nbsp;Ironwoods of 30, 40, 50 degrees. Sand wedge of 55 degrees, chipper and putter.<br>I never felt the need to carry or use any more clubs than what I am currently using.

  “Great minds think alike”. &nbsp;For the past 10 months I’ve been walking the course and carrying just 6-10 clubs depending on the days challenge. &nbsp;It’s more about the exercise and experience than it is about loading around an oversized overstuffed bag on a trolley. &nbsp;😂<br>3w, 5h, 6i, 8i, pw, sw, putter gets the job done.

  I am a new golfer (dabbled in it about 20 years ago) but I like the way you think the bag out. I am contemplating making my clubs shorter for better control so that I can enjoy the game and not chase distance numbers. I like your attitude towards enjoying the game over ego.

  Thanks for taking the time to make this video! I appreciate the insights into creating a setup that works for the player rather than just a standard set. I&apos;ve been getting back into golf after a break and am trying to update the ancient clubs I had inherited when I was young. Videos like this are helping me navigate the minefield of golf clubs and focus on making intentional club purchases that will both help fit my game and save me money. Keep up the good work!

  I have a Sunday bag, 1w, 5w, 5h, 6i, 8, pw, sw, putter. Im 67 and play a 6000meter course. I shot 39 yesterday and 42 today. &nbsp;8clubs is perfectly good and easy to carry .

  I remember starting at 10 years old my first set. It was a beginner set of Ram Jr. Senators, the set contained a laminated woods. A driver, 3 wood and 5 wood. The irons were 3i, 5i, 7, 9i and a putter. There was no other clutter in the bag and you learned to play the game with what was in the bag. At 59 years of age and my swing speed drifting away from health issues I have thought about going with what I learned with as a youngster. Just in a modern set. This video was spot on.
