Nice video, you covered a lot. Coimbra is a beautiful city with a diverse landscape. One thing for sure you will stay in shape walking the city. Cheers from Arega, about 40 km south of Coimbra.

Excellent video. We live 40 mins south of Coimbra but haven't been to the market. It's definitely on our list to do now!
Wishing you well.
Nicola & Dave xx

I love Coimbra. Beautifully filmed and I have a few more places to visit after watching this. I have walked past the market but will go next time I visit. I have my own lemons but only a few left now. I hope you find a house soon.

Great video! We moved here a couple of months ago and we absolutely love it. Coimbra is such a beautiful city and it's filled with wonderful people. It seems like there's always more to discover. Like you were saying, there are always things going on, but it never seems crowded or rushed.

We usually get lunch by the river and spend less than half that for a family of four. Granted, it's usually just tosta mistas, drinks, and ice cream, but the servings are pretty big.

We also found an awesome chicken place on the Santa Clara side that has amazingly delicious chicken and fries. For around €20 you can get more than enough food for a family of four. The only thing is they are takeout only and are only open for dinner. Great value for great food though.

Think the festival pictured was the Madeira food / drink festival?

Lunch for 2 adults and 2 children @ €68.60 seems high compared to Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

You need to get out of the tourist restaurant, a great lunch for two adults with wine, desert, and coffee can be had for €20?
