  13 months and what a pleasure, I hope it was worth the wait.. the mountain of pressure I put on myself was unreal.. but so grateful to have the people around me that built this dream, thank you to each and every one of you for watching and donating.   I love that there is now a permanent “hole” in the kitchen ceiling where it all began but it’s letting in sunshine instead of rain.  Will really miss the updates with Jim!  Please keep in touch and let us know how he’s doing from time to time.  I hope he knows how much he is loved and cared for ❤

  It's amazing the power of community! My dying husband had a last wish to ride a helicopter like he had in the Army. I inquired on a Facebook community page if anyone knew of a service I could hire. Instead, our entire community banded together and in 24 hours raised enough money for the flight! Hubby was the local Santa for more than 40 years and this was the reaction to his service! And the pilot tore up the check, flew us both for free! Every time he talked about it he cried! I lost him in April, but I have sweet memories of the love he had for the community and the love the community had for him.

YOU, by allowing Ben and everyone to help you and become a part of your life’s family, has helped so many others. When I’m having a particularly “off” day, I watch these videos and it changes the rest of my day!! My energy comes up, I look at the day differently, more positive, and simply want to be a better person in the world.   With all the filth, hatred and negativity on the Internet today, it is absolutely heartwarming to watch this. The community gave the money, and a whole load of able craftsmen did an amazing job of giving Jim &amp; Jean a fresh start. Puts a tear in my eye to see this generosity. Kudos to everyone involved 🎉

  I do not think that I am exaggerating: you probably saved his life. With all that he was battling, I really sense the downward spiral he was entering. And with all you did, you gave him so many happy hours already! Health is truly a complex thing and extends far beyond our own bodies.

  This might be one of the most inspiring things I&apos;ve seen on YouTube. What you&apos;ve done with this channel is nothing short of a miracle. You, your dad and Colin have given so much and you&apos;ll likely never truly know the impact you&apos;ve made. Not just your core group, but friends you picked up along the way to become added heroes in your story, like Liam and Jack. It didn&apos;t stop there though. You involved your talented family, reached out to community businesses/tradesmen and gave them an opportunity to give back and get involved. It&apos;s an epidemic of kindness in a world that is so often not kind. <br><br>Thank you for taking us on this journey. Thank you for inspiring us.   Anyone else notice jim looks so much healthier as the time went on? Almost like stress was aging him and now himself and Jean are able enough to go outside?
