  The amount of break is relative to the amount of speed. A young pro once asked Ben Hogan, 'How much does this break?', Hogan - 'How hard are you going to hit it?' Therefore where you aim is relative to the speed of your putt.

  3 foot putts take one thing ...nuts ... you have to have nuts ... head down ...stroke through .. don't look and don't think ... don't ever look and don't ever think ... It's that easy..... but it's not easy !!

  Bryce, great tips. Retired Optometrist here. One recommendation I would make is when you are behind the ball setting up your putting line, do it with your dominant eye only. Close the other eye. Try it and let me know if that helps.

  I find the lines on balls distracting.  What I do is kind of like spot bowling.  I pick out a spot, grain of sand, discoloration in the green, etc about 6 inches ahead of my ball on the line I believe the ball should roll.  I then align the face of my putter square to that spot I've picked out.  IF (still comes down to a good stroke) I've made a good stroke, the ball should roll over that spot well on its way to the hole.

  I'm 78 years young.  Not a bad player but not a better than good putter.  Love the perpendicular line hint in the video and the reminder that Tiger would strive for 100 to 200 putts in a row when practicing.  Had 3 putted recently in a 9 hole match and I could have used those as 2 putts to win.  On to the practice green for more putting.
