One thing I got from my mother is to go into every experience expecting to learn and enjoy yourself. I think that has made dating more enjoyable from me. Did you have fun? Did you learn more about yourself and about relationships or dating? That expectation can never be too high or too low and you’ll get something out of each situation.

It gets to a point where these videos do harm than good. Everyone is making a video on something, it’s too much information that can deter someone to think a certain way.

It’s best when someone researches and thinks for themselves on what they want. Even if it takes a long time. Dating advice is all subjective what works for one person doesn’t work for the other. Everyone is different

If there is one extremely painful lesson that I have learned recently is this... if the person does not respect you for who you are as an individual, then they are allowed to go. If the person respects your timeline and wants to work with you, then they are meant for you. That's the ultimate basis of everything. It is not a you problem. It comes down to a respect problem.

Hi Christina. Long-time subscriber here, I've always loved your content. But I wanted to comment to respectfully disagree with what you said about how people should not be judged by their partners. The sister comparison misses the importance difference of us not being able to choose our siblings. We do choose our partners. And if its a serious relationship where marriage is the goal, for most people, your partner is the only family you will choose. That doesn't mean we're responsible for their actions, I agree that they are their own person. And I also agree with you when you said the "quality" of a woman shouldn't be determined by their partner. But who you choose to commit to as your partner is a reflection of your values, standards, and self respect. While everyone makes mistakes, consistent patterns of behavior reveal their character. If someone chooses to stay with someone who repeatedly behaves in harmful ways, I think it's reasonable for people to see that choice as reflective of them.

Well done for putting yourself out there... the more risks/opportunities you take the closer you get. Dating and mate seeking has always been competitive by nature... and everyone (including ladies) have to be proactive and competitive (within self respecting boundaries of course). Obviously the higher the standards (either gender has), the higher the competition. But stay positive regardless, after all.. you only have to find the right person ONCE.

As an autistic man — i would ignore every girl i find attractive. My bad. But my girl found me at a museum — she walked up to me

Many educated women share your challenges. A lot of us have given up on finding a respectful decent, good-hearted husband. I don't think that you don't have anything to lose in dating. I have been low-key traumatized by my very few relationships (which all came from dating apps). With cold avoidants. I don't have the courage to put myself out there again to be honest and have accepted that It's better to grow old with my friends, my animals, my books and my money..

I love your approach and attitude towards dating💛 I would like to share my experience with ticking the right boxes, i found a guy that ticked all the boxes, after 4 dates, we found out we just dont have feelings for each other although we both tick each others boxes. It taught me to have general loose guidelines, and welcome the friendships and experiences along the journey

Can we talk about how much stress and anxiety weve all wasted trying to talk it out with men?? I looked back after reading Make Him Your Pet and nearly fell off my chair. So much worry and crying over guys when a simple Scarcity Switch makes them do exactly what you want without a single argument.
