I love how Donna’s attorney is so set on how her visa to Vietnam was for the purpose of tourism… as if they have an option to get visas to flee out of fear of getting arrested for murder.

It's extraordinary to hear Donna say that her family is cursed, suggesting that they are all victims of some invisible force. She has zero insight into the fact that she is the one who cursed her family. She caused all the suffering, and the "curse" she is referring to is known to the rest of us as "consequences".
