  People make some silly comments. This was a great review! I just sold my 1290 Super Adventure and I'm ready to downsize. I want to make motorcycling fun again (not just fast and cozy) and this might be it! Thanks for this video!

  Testing a Himmy 450 on enduro trails with stock tyres is like expecting Usain Bolt to run the 100m sprint in leather Oxfords. Stock tyres are cheaper for a reason, they're meant to keep the overall cost of the bike down, not to dominate technical trails.

  I ride a Goldwing  but I just rode one of these around India for a couple weeks. Surprisingly capable, easy to ride and fun. Mostly paved, some gravel, some sand and dirt.

  Hats off to you for being able to do what you did on 80/20 tires! I appreciate that you did the review on the bike as it comes from the dealer. It gives the viewer a true perspective of what to expect. Great review!

  Collected mine 29th April last year it was the first one in Sweden and is my first adventure bike. I love it, and even with changes I’ve made adding luggage, crash protection, heated grips, GPS, taller screen and better tyres I’m still under about 10’000 Euros. The best thing I’ve done was cha going the tyres to Dunlop Trailmax raids, they really suit a lot of the loose gravel, and forest track roads we have here. <br><br>The biggest problem I have is trying to learn how to ride off road having ridden on tarmac for over 20 years, so taking some time to adjust and require my thinking, which is also part of the fun. <br><br>3000km, with no issues so far, the bike does more than I ask of it, and has taken me on roads I would never have even dared to consider on a roads bike.

  In the Dominican Republic - &nbsp;a country near Cuba &nbsp; Motorbikes outnumber cars by 5 to 1.<br>People in Asia and 3rd world countries ride bikes for basic &nbsp;transportation, it’s their &nbsp;basic sedan- grocery getter.<br>People in North America ride bikes for Fun!<br>That’s the biggest difference.

  Point is not how mych it can take... but you can actually break it in half and repair it back and do trips.. one cant imagine doing that with any of those gs types bikes..

  I enjoyed the vid, I impulse bought a real low mileage Himalayan 411 on the cheap. The terrain around our 20 miles from town, rural property looks exactly like your test area and I ride the hell out of my Himalayan 411, to town, the neighbors, fishing in the mountains, everywhere haha. Maintenance is easy and parts show up from the official Royal Enfield bros on Ebay in India in 7 days haha &nbsp;I get running the test bike with stock tires for the test, but I put a big, narley Dunlap knob on the back and a Dunlap 605 on the front, makes all the difference in the world 😎 My bike is black on black and I removed all the stickers and bought the RE panniers to get my local &nbsp;Mad Max mini-tours on! <br>The best fucking 3k I&apos;ve ever spent!

  The first thing I did with mine was to put the larger Cruising screen on. I mad a huge difference
