August 2025. My son passed in July. This song helps the pain in some way. His name was Dylan. We called him Moon. He was precious. So beautiful. 27 years old but special needs and cognitively 8. The most beautiful 27 years of my life. What an honor to be his mama. If you see a perfect Moonlit night, please say hello Dylan for me🥹🖤✨️🌙

 Love One Another

Verse 1
Anyone who’s ever known a friend
Knows that love can heal what’s broken.
Anyone who’s ever lost their way
Knows the power of a gentle word spoken.

Chorus
Love one another,
Love one another,
Oh, love, love one another.
Lift up your neighbor,
Carry each other,
And let your kindness shine forever.

Verse 2
If someone stumbles, take their hand.
If someone cries, just stay nearby.
A heart that’s filled with grace and mercy
Can lift another toward the sky.

Chorus
Love one another,
Love one another,
Oh, love, love one another.
Every smile can change a life,
Every act can end a fight.
Let your light keep burning bright.

Bridge
When the night is long, be someone’s dawn.
When hope grows weak, help them carry on.
Forgive as you’ve been forgiven.
Give as you’ve been freely given.
Walk in peace, walk in grace,
See God’s image in every face.

Verse 3
No one was meant to stand alone;
We’re stronger when we stand as one.
A helping hand, an open heart—
That’s where Heaven’s work is done.

Final Chorus
Love one another,
Love one another,
This is the greatest gift of all.
Lift the weary, feed the hungry,
Comfort those who feel forgotten.
Let your life become a song of hope.

For love is patient.
Love is kind.
Love keeps no record of wrongs.
Love never fails,
And where love lives,
The light of God shines on.

Outro
Love one another.
Love one another.
Every heart, every soul.
Hand in hand, side by side,
We’ll walk together all the way home.

Amen.

Had this track on a cassette tape back in Highschool in the 90s. Used to cruz around late at night driving my 1986 Fiero GT, letting my mind wander and contemplating my exit strategy out of the only town I had ever known. Now I would do anything to break back into that youthful existence…back to that same time and place…

This is a song I dedicated to my daughter who passed away at age 6. Her name is Emily Katherine Jane.

The best cover in human history. Still gives me chills decades later.

This is what happens when you get a bunch of great musicians together whose resting heart rate is like 39. Love it.

This song from The Cowboy Junkies 1988, makes me think of Mazzy Star, Fade Into You 1993. Listen to them back to back.

Stranger Things made me remember how much I loved this song as a kid in the 80s. Especially the ending of the song
