A trip to Japan in August is better than not going to Japan at all.

Don't overthink it; book when you can and just go with it. Even if it means booking things 6 months in advance.

I only visited Japan during summer(August) and winter(December) for the purpose of visiting Comic Market so definitely not much of a variation on visits 😅 I actually want to visit during the bad season for once to escape from my repeating routine though, this video is informative on that haha. Appreciate the series of super informative videos but also miss the places/restaurants to visit videos~

Best time is March/April & October/November Not too hot nor too cold.

Great to know. I've had my trip booked since July, and it just so happens to align here with one of the best times. I'm arriving February 21st and leaving March 5th. I'm from the UK, so that sort of weather is what I'm used to during that time of year. Great to know. I got my hotel for quite cheap. My whole stay is £285 in a capsule hotel in Yokohama, which isn't bad because all I need is somewhere I can sleep really.

This is good information. Unfortunately, I always timed my visit with a concert I wanted to see. This year concerts are during golden week 😂

I visited Japan during the Golden week but thats was because i went to EVO Japan tournament to participate for a big video game tournament while exploring Japan during the mid May after the Gold week ends in a month.

We went in late November/early December last year and it was pretty good

Arigato Gozaimasu for this video. The best time to visit Japan for me would be during Cherry blossom season, for the scenery. The absolute worse time to visit would have to be during Golden Week. Thinking about visiting in August to see the Awa Odori festival in Tokushima. Good information and I will definitely have to make reservations as early as possible and to be prepared for the heat. Never heard of Silver Week.
