  Thank you for being straight about this. Like… “make good music, release it as often as you can, make content to promote it.” It IS that simple. People just don’t like hearing that it takes longer than a month lol. Might take a few years. But if you do exactly those things, you’ll absolutely grow.

  the big catalog one point really helped me get to 100k monthly listeners, i got 3 songs semi-viral independently. and organically people gravitated to my other songs and that's what really got the ball rolling

  Putting out a song every week is honestly insane. I don't think that's realistic for most artists at all. But if it works for you then go for it. I think it's a good idea to advise artists to net feel pressured to favor quantity over quality at the expense of favoring spotify's algorithim. At the end of the day, consistency is key but at what cost lol. Cuz every week is MENTAL

  Someone mentioned something like ‘fame growers’ (two words, you'll get it) and it ended up helping more than expected. Streams came in slow and steady, looked totally normal.

  I have posted some songs on spotify, but there has been no progress until now. I feel like giving up, but after watching this, I am back to being enthusiastic about creating songs again. Hopefully the little musicians who watch this will continue to grow. :face-blue-smiling:

  For someone who started making music last year, and who has seen the ups and downs and the struggles of getting those clicks to your spotify and the endless hours spent on making reels and tiktoks, only to get 50 likes and 300 views, I needed to watch this video. Your best advice - &nbsp;&apos;Put out a song every week or every 2 weeks, why not?&apos; &nbsp;I asked myself, &apos;WHY NOT?&apos; And it&apos;s so simple. Not like anyone cares. Nobody is going to come and tell me, &apos;STOP RELEASING SONGS EVERY WEEK, THAT&apos;s BAD STRATEGY&apos;. So why not? <br>I am going to try this. Maybe I won&apos;t be able to put out a song every week, or even every 2 weeks, but I WILL TRY. Thanks bro.
