  Hearing about the guy driving the coaches reminded me of when I used to be a bus driver in Colchester. We had a route that went to Mersea Island. According to a number of drivers at the depot there was a phantom passenger who used to ride the last bus to West Mersea. This phantom passenger would ring the bell for the second from last bus stop, but when the drivers would pull up at the stop no one would get off. Two drivers claimed to actually see this passenger, one saw them sat on the back seat of their bus, the other saw them at a bus stop. The one who said they saw them at the bus stop said they the person vanished as they went to pull up to the stop.

  I work on the  a303 at night i remember one morning in the summer a massive crop circle appeared near michldever slip  road in the fied we saw nothing the night before .

  In the 80s, as a fairly young child on the way up to Salisbury, we went past Stonehenge, and there were hundreds of druids in full regalia having a ceremony around the stones - it was so spooky.  I was petrified and can still see it now. Talking of ghosts of animals, my Dad saw the ghost of a pig that had escaped from the local farm and had killed it on the lane with his car.  It was a week later. Maybe it was a time slip?

  Great video, the A303 was my weekly commute for many years when I lived in Taunton and worked for P&O Ferries out of Dover.

  Allegedly there is a ley line that runs through the general area. It is said that these ley lines can act as conduits for supernatural activity.

  Woowoo three minutes ago, but i have visited Stonehenge from 1973 till 1985 during the free festivals and we were allowed to climb all over the stones during sunrise on the equinox. Amazing place, atmosphere all of its own.

  I stayed on the field opposite stonehenge in the 80s, there were a lot of us hippies there at the summer solstace, and accidents did happen on the road

  I travel along the A303 very frequently, and there is just something about the road. Airmans Cross is a fascinating and sad story, with the memorial inside the boundary of the visitors' centre at Stonehenge. Thank you for this great piece of research. 💖💖💖
