  In terms of side-content, I think Brawl did it the best. And this applies more than just the stage builder, but the challenges (lot to collect from CDs to Stage Builder Parts to stages), &quot;milestones&quot; (which unlocks things like Extra Rules) or even collectables (like CDs or Trophies from Mew and Celebi) peaked in Brawl. Smash 4 and especially Ultimate has a lot less to collect

  One point in favor of conveyor belts is that if you&apos;re trying to complete the game you eventually need to get all stickers, and conveyors are some of the best tools for making sticker farms.

  Brawl Machinimas back in the day just would not have been the same without the stage builder, even just looking at a custom stage in Brawl brings me back to those times lol

  Ultimate&apos;s stage builder is the best in terms of how creative you can be when making a stage. You can make some of the wackiest hazards, and if you&apos;re a good enough artist, you can make some really pretty looking stages. But Brawl&apos;s stage builder is the best in terms of how easy and intuitive it is to use. You don&apos;t have to worry about drawing the terrain correctly, you can just drag and drop objects super easily, and the soft platforms actually work. If stage builder comes back for Smash 6, I&apos;d like it to be a more fleshed out version of Brawl&apos;s. Maybe they can make it work it like Mario Maker, that feels like a nice middle ground to me.

  The most fun i ever had with smash was with a custom map my friends dubbed the &apos;box of death&apos;. A giant box as big as it let us make, with a single block missing at the top middle. Dying laughing getting to like 400% trying to knock each other out of the box through that little hole was peak smash bros

  Honestly many times I’ve wished for a straight up Super Mario Maker system for stage builder. A good balance between drawing a stage and placing blocks.<br>I still prefer Ultimate’s background/foreground layers, and how they handled the stage themes.

  Ultimate&apos;s stage building tools always felt like a discombobulated mess a dude in his 30&apos;s doesn&apos;t wanna deal with and so accumulates in his closet.<br><br>Brawl on the other hand was a kid&apos;s lego box. Imaginative and full of petential while still being orderly and practical
