Man I love your videos. I learn something new on every one. I fished Lake Ontario a lot while stationed at Fort Drum in the mid 90s. I never realized the clarity I was seeing from the boat wasn’t what it looked like for the fish. Underwater cameras have been such a great tool for us fishermen.

It's similar to turning on your high beams while driving in a snowstorm; you lose visibility versus your regular driving lights or, yet, with no lights on at all. 👌

What I gathered from this video is this. I live in Texas and for the vast majority of the lakes I have fished, water visibility is 18"-24' from an anglers perspective. So, if actual visibility under water is noticeably less as the GO PRO shows, the idea that a fish can be scared away from hitting a lure because it is line shy is pure BS. If I can't see a .15MM diameter dark green braid 18' under the surface, how is a fish going to see it 5'-6 deep?

Bass use more then their eyes to hunt down bait . Sound plays a big role especially when it’s glass , calm , and clear
