  It seems to me that the fundamental truth in Gaza is that there&apos;s now &nbsp;hundreds of thousands of young people in Gaza who have an even greater desire to exact revenge upon Israel. <br>Even should Hamas disarm, there&apos;s the makings of the next generation of fighters. <br>The hatred runs so deep it would require a complete regime change in Israel AND Gaza - a change far greater than what happened in South Africa.

  One doesn’t disarm while invaders are occupying one’s land. Hamas and Hezbollah aren’t occupying Israel. The IDF are occupying Gaza, the West Bank, and &nbsp;Lebanon.

  The probability that Israel would withdraw from Gaza after a surrender of Hamas&apos; arms is the same as that of Russia withdrawing from Ukraine after a similar surrender.
