  Repetition IS the key to success. I started my Bonsai journey after I discovered this channel. Three years later and maybe 1,000 videos I have 22 bonsai. I’ve purchased some expensive species but have also done air layering and used discounted materials from the home improvement store. My only hope is after I pass my children or grandchildren will adopt my trees.

  I learned how to do bonsai from this channel and Mr. Chan many years ago now(before 2016).  I learned how easy it was and that any tree could be a bonsai and I haven't stop since.  It's really brought a lot to my life.  I really enjoy them.  I wish I lived in Britain so that I could thank him personally.  I am eternally grateful.

  I had a dream last week that i was watching a Heron's video where Peter was making a bonsai out of a celery plant... I'm guessing things don't go quite that far here, but when I saw the title I did wonder for a moment.

  This is by far my favorite bonsai content creator. I love how he finds and taught me to find bonsai everywhere. I love how he thinks outside the planter box.  He is the first to say he still makes mistakes but by experimenting he learns. There are certain principals to bonsai success that he makes sure to follow.  Two branch wiring and pruning to certain shapes for the tree being used.  I can literally write a short book on how much I have learned and appreciate. I wish he was in the states cause I'd love to follow In his footsteps for a day.  Thank you to Peter and very importantly thank you to all the nursery helpers because the grounds are beautiful.

  I love your videos Peter.  I started in bonsai 3 years ago learning the basics from watching your YouTube channel.  Today I have over 20 bonsais, all started from cuttings or simple plants I found in the yard.  You really don't have to spend much money at all getting started in this art if you use what is freely available all around you.  Thank you for sharing your knowledge so freely!

  Seeing this reminds me of all the previous projects you have done Peter. How about a series going back to some of the projects to see how they are progressing?
