  So the reason why the graveyard section is so weird is that they just dropped the demo in almost unaltered. Which is why the birthday thing comes up. Demo context: MARTIE and Daniel are brother and sister and she is taking him to the graveyard for a birthday bash. Nothing about their dad. She hid a gun in one of the trashcans for him. This is why the valve puzzle breaks so easily, because it was made with the gun quest in mind. And why he can mention getting a gun from the trashcan, even though he doesn&apos;t, and already has one. It also wasn&apos;t a golden deagle in the demo, but some Polish gun that gets mentioned in the weird dev document in the police station.

  I love that Daniel&apos;s hair color goes from brown to silver due to the way the lighting is set up. I choose to believe this is because of the constant stress of thinking Grandma would be hiding around any corner.

  Honestly...that voice acting from the main guy is the best thing about it. Feel bad he was involved in such a poorly put together project but I hope he gets some props for it.

  Yknow, Daniel&apos;s voice actor is pretty good. Like you can knock the lines he&apos;s being made to say but that speech before shooting dad was really well delivered

  It&apos;s a real shame because Daniel&apos;s voice actor is genuinely impressive. Delivery on lines when they&apos;re shooting, while the lines themselves are quite goofy, come with a sense of panic and fear that feels visceral and sincere. If the script had been anymore competently written, I think his performance could have been made truly stellar.
