Great video. A takeaway from this is that people 'like us' cannot moderate. It has to be zero. None.

I’m glad your off the drink. You don’t need it, you’re articulate, confident in your sobriety and best of all helping a lot of people

It was the hangovers/recovery rock bottom for me too! I was sooo sick of the hangovers. I prayed to God for 3hrs on 6/1/2026 to PLEASE let this be my LAST HANGOVER.

I didn't realise my anxiety back then was booze related until listening to a couple of channels like this. I am 47 and gave up at 40, I feel like I wasted 20 years, how I managed to have a career I'll never know.

My rock bottom was when I was so hungover that I couldn't get out of bed so my niece who was 4 at the time got her doctors kit out. I knew then I'm not repeating history my dad was often out of action and in bed . I've too much respect and love for my family to let this happen.

My lowest point was when I got blackout drunk at a works party. My boss and his assistant drove me home - and I was sick all over the inside of his car. I’d only been at the job a couple of weeks. Oh. My. God. 😢

Great video - the crippling anxiety hangovers are no joke.

I quit after a massive weekend in London. I was so hungover I fell asleep on the benches outside St Pancras station and had my bags stolen. I had a 12 hour train back to Glasgow to mull things over…

These videos are incredibly helpful.

Hey I’ve been binge watching your videos. I’m 43. Been a weekend binge drinker since I was 18. Your channel has been very relatable.

After one particular week long hangover I realized I Can’t do it anymore. Im not 20 or even 30 anymore. The hardest part is realizing my whole reason for living, the only reason I’d get up and go to work and keep up on bills and take care of myself (somewhat) was just so I could go get sh1tfaced on the weekend. I woke up at 43 not knowing what I was living for anymore.

My last hangover was my last two hangovers…that I’d say were as both as brutal as a 13 outta 10! That 2nd to last one really made me think MORE about my very last one on 6/1/2022.

Keep coming back to your vids, really good Bryn, totally relate to it all, the post drink hangover anxiety is the worst feeling in the world, especially after a work day, that feeling of dread on a Monday morning, drunk texts. So bad. Drinking whisky in the house every week and thinking it's normal, been off it a couple of months and feeling good, zero percent beer just to chill and watch world cup and reflect sitting in garden. So much money and self damage over the years, but like yourself, a switch has flicked. Tired of feeling tired and down. Think about friends and who are actually friends now. Thank you for your videos 👍
