I think Xenoblade 3 has got to be my favourite rpg ever, the amount of feels that game gave me was crazy. Who knew Noah was going to be such a good MC.

Every tier list video ever has a disclaimer stating it’s all opinion and yet people still get mad 😭

Yeah so the thing with Fire Emblem Three Houses is that the actual plot is the most basic baseline thing ever, but the lore, worldbuilding, and character writing is what so many of us are so vehemently attached to and won’t shut up about 5 years later. It’s truly a masterclass in morally grey character writing. Everyone (for the most part) just feels so real even apart from some of the anime tropes that were used for some of the cast

You made me discover (and fall in love with) Xenoblade Chronicles and I am currently looking for suggestions anyway, so this couldn't have come at a better time

Xenogears is my favorite game, but like. I played it in 1999 when I was a teen, that brain chemistry altering hit me hard because I was just the right age.

I’m finally getting to Xenoblade now (played 1, 2, and Torna) and it’s amazing how so much of them feel like the messy ideas of Xenogears selected with more focus and care and given time to shine. Mythra and Pyra is specially are great exploration of the ideas they dabbled in with Fei way back when.

If I remember right, Lightning is the only FF character who had commercials like Louis Vuitton/Nissan, so she is indeed very iconic.

You really have to play all four routes (200+ hours lol) to fully appreciate three houses, but man what a game. It’s a very special experience and by far my favorite entry in the series. I hope the next game takes more inspiration from it than the older games.

Peak list honestly. I'm glad you stuck to your experiences and didn't let anyone change you mind about a certain game. Fun video!

I got into Xenoblade because of the late, great…..Etika. But I have to say, your XC3 reactions are some of my favorite on the whole internet. Also, girl, I was crying right along with you at all those big tearjerker moments. God, that game made me feel things I’ve never felt before 10/10

Fun list. Nice to hear your thoughts on why stuff fell where they did. Just from hearing your thoughts it does seem like the gap from rank to rank is pretty small until we get to C. Seems like that is the point were they games go from okay to bad and then D is awful hehe. I know when I make list like this for myself my gap from rank to rank has the largest jump from B to A then it is marginal from A to S. I always have to fight myself on my favs on which get the top spot. Looking forward to the additions of more jrpg's to add in the future.

Oh by the way, a Pokémon game you might enjoy more according to your tastes is Sun and Moon. It’s the most story based game in the series and the one that feels the most like a traditional JRPG, it’s also very polished and looks great for a 3DS game.
Amazing characters, plot and setting, and phenomenal music too
