  3 minutes in with the profiteering weapons dealers turning Poe in to the First Order: this is already better than Disney's version. You did something to expand on Canto Byte that will be very plot relevant rather than just making that world building a throw away line.

  Do you imagine palpatine having a demonic looking spirit when it gets yanked from his body….since it spends the while film concealed beneath a cloud of dark energy and then inhabiting a partially regenerated body….what does his actual soul look like

  My own story that is separate to the rewritten sequel trilogy, a republic and a separatist battle group have went missing in the outer rim near the unknown regions and have encountered a planet that's not even on any known star chart. And they discovered nearly intact starships from a time that is around 3,000 years ago. The two fleets do enter into a reluctant alliance and started to repair the damage their ships had suffered from the unknown anomaly that affected their hyperdrives and also in process made a long time effort to bring the old starships left on the planet back from that place to bring more ships to the field even if they're dinosaurs in comparison to the new ships. The combined fleet does escape the purgatory of a planet and once they returned to the galaxy they had been isolated from, around 50 years had past and they witness a galaxy still locked in war between the New Republic and the First Order. And their final decision was to fight on the side of the New Republic and with more courage while using outdated ships. It's my own idea, and I hope it's a cool one.

  Bravo! That was incredible. You elegantly rewrote the story in such a way that it made the original make sense. It was hard to tell what was the original plot vs what was the added/re-worked part, which is the best part to me.

  This was an amazing wrap-up to your rewrites (which I just listened to back-to-back).  The final message at the end, wrapping up the entire saga, was far more profound than anything the actual Sequel Trilogy vomited out, all while using so many of the same story beats as that awful train wreck.  You, Sir, are a real writer.  Thank you for the excellent videos.

  In listing LOTR and HP as examples of villains appearing much more menacing after a huge defeat, honestly you kind of invalidate your critique that the sequels shouldn’t have been made at all… cause those examples WORK REALLY WELL (but hey you’re here rewriting sequels anyway so there ya go)
