8:00

Watching this after Gamescom and Silksong being announced with not just a release date but one that's coming in less than two weeks is hilarious. The curse never dies.

I once said to Trav during an AMA he did on Twitter on how much I wanted them to finally do Prime 2 (alongside playing Trepang2).

Ryan’s exact response was: “But what if we did Prime a second time? Does that count?”

I can’t believe he actually went ahead and did it.

I thought for sure that they would finally do Prime 2 when 4 came out but I’ve been morph blue-balled.

Devil May Cry 2? Metroid Prime 2? They don't exist in the land of BSC.

Way back in 2012 when you guys did your LP of the Gamecube version it inspired me to pick up the game again and give it another shot, aiming to see it through to completion.

I ended up essentially playing the game along with you guys, waiting patiently and excitedly for the latest episode to come out, paying close attention to everything you guys did in the episode, and then going off and doing the same stuff myself in my own time. It felt like checking in with a group of the coolest friends imaginable and just hanging out and making each other laugh for 20 minutes every week.

I was incredibly depressed and suffering from the worst anxiety I've ever experienced at the time. I was a very confused, lost, and sad teenager at this point in my life, I didn't have a lot of friends and basically zero idea of what I was going to do once I left high school.

Playing this game along with you guys in the Summer of 2012 made living through all of that bearable.

13 years later and I'm living in my own apartment, have a close circle of friends, and I'm working on my own music, film, and art projects pretty much every week now.

Thank you Johnny, Ryan, Lewis, and Ted.

Brainscratch forever.

Man, can you imagine a game company releasing two skews of the same series on the same day nowadays? People would call them nuts for cannibalizing their own sales like that.

$40 for a remaster that looks THIS good?! I felt like a criminal buying this game!

Lighting and shading are some of the most important parts of a 3D render looking good and when you go back to the Gamecube original you really notice how the remake artists nailed the hell out of it.
