  I was headed to YCS Philly in 2012 and I was going to travel with my Syracuse friends. Once I arrived in Syracuse, I walked from the bus station to the mall where their locals were. I made a trade for two common Soul Takers (valued at .50 cents USD apiece) and immediately sidedecked them for the aforementioned purpose.<br><br>This card was a lifesaver and I beat all my matchups when using this card. It also baited out the use of Evolzar Laggia since it was Dino Rabbit format and I played Inzektors. I came 34th going 9-2 (missed top cut on tiebreakers).

  I&apos;m pretty sure another main reason to use Soul Taker over Smashing Ground/Fissure/Hammer Shot is because you actually get to choose what to kill, since there could be a problematic monster that has stats that would dodge the other options

This was a Tier 0 format“ -Squiddy <br><br>By the way contrary to popular belief Dragon Rulers in fact was a Tier 0 deck but not in the Spellbook Ruler format. It only became one after the first banlist since the ban of Judgement eliminated the only reliable counter to the Rulers which lead to the deck becoming more dominant even though it also got nerfed really hard. This is I think the only time in Yugioh history were a deck became more successful and after a banlist that hit it directly.

  I&apos;m a fan of Horus. I used Lv 6 plus Metalmorph. His immunity to spells really helps against non-target monster clearance spells. Also, it is fun using Lv 6 Horus and Lv limit area B (continuous spell that works like gravity bind)
