First thanks for reacts to Ren performance, it's a deep catalogue but worth every minute spend.
Some info about Ren [Gill] (sorry for being long): it's Welsh, born 1990, when still under 20 began to feeling sick, went to many doctors but without any solution. Health was always worsening, they give first a (wrong) diagnosis of bipolar, then of other diseases with no real cure. In reality he was bite by a tick and got Lyme disease (not well know at the time in UK). Without a proper cure and with drugs he never really needed, after 8 years the situation got really worse, Ren was almost sure to die before reaching 30. Lived on the bedroom for months, with continuous pain. But when possible he continued to make music, go on the streets playing for tips (busking). He had some success over internet (the bigger was "Blind Eyed" with Sam Tompkins) and finally a doctor found out of his condition and another give him a free stem cell treatment on USA.
Till now still suffering various consequences and could eat a very limited diet. Has done two more treatments (one in Canada and one in Mexico), but still had to be careful with his energy and stress, that's the reason for doing very few concerts. Has just done a reunion mini tour with his old band "The Big Push" gone immediately sold out.
He could: rap with many different flows; sing; play guitars (electric and classic), bass, piano, some drums and who knows what else; compose/play/produce his music and beats; could beat box; ideate most of his videos and coo direct them, doing also post productions like color grading. It's simply incredible how many skills he had, but that is mostly from his continuous practicing and study (he self learned the majority of them). You asked about it for doing Hi Ren, he said to have practiced the song, with guitar and all the left-right movement, for over a month every day for hours.
But over all this, Ren is a good human being, take a look at his video "Defining success" done for reaching 1million subscriber on his channel, you will start to understand why.
Again sorry for being so long, ciao from Italy (and sorry for my imperfect English).

He really went through it all and is still going through it. Chronic Lyme disease which di a lot of damage before it was diagnosed. He was suffering from psychosis for 4 months when he was 25.
Multi-instrumentalist all self taught. Raps ,sings, writes and directs his own videoes.
I suggest Sick Boi next. It was released right after Hi Ren. He has become the voice of the chronically ill and also has a bunch of fun stuff and social change songs.

Ren really works very hard at perfecting his many talents. Singer, poet, rapper, storyteller plus lead and bass guitar, piano, drummer. Producer, Composer, video director. He crosses over many genres. As well as solo projects, he also has some great collabs and is a member of The Big Push - a band that grew up playing on the streets in Brighton, where he now lives (UK South coast). All of this whilst dealing with ongoing physical and mental health issues. He is also a really authentic, humble human being, who is loved and respected by his fans (we are RENegades). New sub for more Ren. Love from the UK.
