We used to stop in every phone booth to see if any change was left in the coin exchange. We got lucky a lot of times.

I remember every one of these! Life was simpler back then, and slower. I miss those days.

Reading about homemade lunches, family dinners, and soda shop hangouts really brought me back to a time when life felt slower and more connected. There’s something magical about those simple routines that is missing today

I remember all of this! I have one thing to add. My brother and I used to sit in a hot car in the summer to see who would chicken out first! We’re still alive.

Back when people wrote thank you notes, cards, letters, and postcards - in cursive with proper grammar and spelling. Those were the days.

I’m in the middle of this video . This made me remember walking about a mile to McDonalds , and getting a hamburger for 15 cents, fries for a dime, a chocolate shake for 20 cents. It was such a treat.

Those colorful diners, drive-ins, and soda fountains make me wish I could travel back to experience the energy of the 1960s. Everything feels so alive

Decency and common courtesy should be at the top of this list, because they are non existent today.
