Tim and Camilla, Gavin Newsom is NOT a moderate! He is the dream opponent for a populist. So many negative images are available for commercials: Teenagers rampaging through shopping malls, massive wildfires over eight years of his rule with no success at preventing or controlling them, Gavin Newsom eating dinner at the French Laundry restaurant during the pandemic while his constituents were huddled in their homes eating ramen noodles and chicken wings. A Newsom nomination would give JD Vance a Chris Matthews thrill up his leg.
