She says they’re “smashing the gangs”, not only are they not smashing them they are arresting anyone who tries to stop them. No wonder people are coming to the conclusion that the government is the “Gang”. They arrange transport ahead of the large boat’s landing, with a police escort and hotel accommodation ready for them fully staffed.
