  i've seen this show several times, but it's so beautiful and fun. Especially watching someone else who hasn't seen it is so fun. I'll watch it again along with you. It's surely something Himmel the Hero would have done.

  I’m not sure if you noticed or not, when Heiter meets Fern (which happens sometime after Himel’s death) he’s still drinking but in the last episode he turned down the alcohol saying he gave it up long ago, implying that the thing that finally made him give up drinking was to raise Fern.

  The first 4 episodes were shown in movie theaters as a little movie. They're just the introduction to the whole series and give you the reason for this whole journey. Ep 5+ is when the series really takes off, it only gets better!

  I'm in my 40's now, and let me tell you, this show hits HARD if you're of the age where you start losing the people closest to you. Heiter's lesson about keeping the ones you love alive in your heart by living the values they taught you really resonates with me, esp after losing my father a few years ago. "It's what Himmel the Hero would've done" indeed.

  この薬草家の言葉が人として美しいアドバイスで好き。フェルンのこともフリーレンのことも否定せず、お互いの中で答えを出すように代回案までフェルンに持たせて「相手にとっても大切なことなのだろうから素直に自分の気持ちも自分の言葉で伝えてご覧なさい」て伝えるの素敵。<br><br>見た目では若いエルフにも自分よりずっと大人だからいえば伝わると諭してるところも素敵。まるで2昔前の世代の方々からアドバイスされてるかのようで嬉しい

  you&apos;ll soon learn how inspiring Himmel the hero is. there was even a guy in Taiwan who helped stop a knife attack and as he got an award for his bravery, he said &quot;If Himmel was there, he would’ve done the same thing&quot;

  I am really enjoying your commentary.   <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F76zh8LQL3Q&amp;t=440">7:20</a> yearss ago, there was an incident in a train on Taiwan where a man with a knife threatened other passengers, but a brave man stood up and stopped him and when asked why he did that he said it was what his favorite character, Himmel the Hero, would have done.

  The second bottle Frieren spills on Heiter&apos;s grave is the one he didn&apos;t finish when he saved Fern and quit drinking to be a responsible parent.
