The way we present an image that shows a dark location on screen, is actually more about contrast - and in this case, bigger contrast ratios between light and dark.   Rob, I’ve been watching your videos for a while now, and I just want to say you’re exactly what this industry needs. You’re not just another YouTuber trying to sell something or push some nonsense; you truly understand lighting and how it works. I really want to thank you for changing the way I see light. I used to just light a scene, but now lighting means something completely different to me.
