I worked at D Division for 8.5 years running the ghost tours. Loved it, best time of my life and have 1851 tattooed on my arm, the year it opened

The biggest mistake that was made was closing Pentridge and when the wrong man was hung when they hung Ronald Ryan, may he rest on peace

The guy who was best man in my parents wedding in the 69s worked there more than 30yrs. He was present during riots and also saw some awful happenings. He'd often say the majority of people couldn't imagine the evil that lived inside those walls among criminals

loved this. I did a tour before they redeveloped, it was excellent, going through the gates the first time was an eye opener. Seeing it in person was something I will always remember .it would be as scary as hell to be a prisoner in there .... very happy knowing I could go home anytime.

In the very early 1990's I worked in Pentridge doing brickwork and stone work in one of the Divisions then did the same at Barwon.

Did a few divisions, at pleasure of her maj.<br>The bluestone work was incredible. F div. Arcade and church, and especially the lions in the A div. Visit yard.

My uncle Terry Fogarty spent time in h division, he fell asleep in an abandoned house and when he woke up there was a woman who had overdosed and he got blamed for it and was thrown in a cell with chopper for the first month, no one was allowed to see him, he came out a totally different person, and pretty much drank himself to death!

My stepped up dad Thomas Graham Jones spent a lot of time in pentrige and his name is still on the wall of one of the cells. Also my brother Robert Dewan spent a lot of time here.

Women were also kept in Pentridge D division. I know I was one of them . Incarcerated for non payment of fines. It was hell.
