  It&apos;s not just about the Dodgers or the Lakers. Between Mark Walter and Dan Tauriss, those guys have spent about 2 billion dollars over the last few years on motorsports. Their companies Gainbridge, group 1001, Delaware life, TWG and others having been sponsoring dozens of race teams. They started by sponsoring the Andretti team in IndyCar. Then they bought Andretti. All of it. The formula e team, the IndyCar team, the Indy lights team, the extreme off-road team, the WTR IMSA team and the start of the fledgling Cadillac F1 team. These guys have probably spent over a billion dollars with just those. Then there is the three car NASCAR team they bought out and all of the lower series teams that feed into that.<br><br>All of these years have gone by with me seeing this in motorsports, &nbsp;and I didn&apos;t even know this guy owned the Dodgers, Chelsea FC and the Lakers. If I knew that, I would have been well aware that I was waiting to see a house of cards fall.<br><br>While the Dodgers and their financial situation should be looked into, the motorsports teams are probably due for some government regulators to go over their books as well. Then there&apos;s Chelsea, The Lakers and probably a few other unrelated plate-spinning financial disasters waiting to unfold.<br><br>This sort of stuff always makes me nervous. A sponsor comes out of nowhere and start slapping their logo on several racecars for millions of dollars. It always seems like there is something shady going on. It&apos;s like being a fan of a YouTuber and seeing them start doing ad reads for a company you have never heard of. And then the next thing you know, every YouTube channel that you watch is being sponsored by that same company. And that&apos;s where you get sponsors like Honey or Established Titles<br><br>I&apos;m sick of these billionaires ruining sports. I&apos;m sick of billionaires cheating at every financial system they can. They all do it. Only some of them get caught.

  This stuff is more complicated than &nbsp;most of us can understand. <br>That&apos;s what those who participate in these activities count on! <br>Make no mistake, Walter is far from the only one doing this. As mentioned early on, this is a much bigger situation than Baseball. <br>But who is looking out for the money the public is spending on their insurance premiums? <br>Sadly, I will not hold my breath expecting lawmakers/politicians - cut from the same cloth as the people doing these things - to investigate deeper, hold investors gaming the system accountable and tighten the loopholes.
