I will add that after my “experience,” I was taught to do this to others(I was under the misconception that I was helping others.) I have repented and now understand that this stuff is honestly occultic and not of God.

Can yall look into the book the bondage breaker by Neil T Anderson. It led me down a rough road and has a lot of similarities to the deliverance ministry teachings. It led me to a works based theology bc I didn’t quite understand the true beauty of the gospel. I believed I was saved but because I was told I had demons it made me question my salvation. It almost wrecked out my faith but God has been faithful to give me answers and understanding of the deception I was under. I was groomed into believing this theology before my so called, “deliverance ministry.” The power of suggestion is definitely real and it used I believe to play on people’s traumas and ensure an emotional response that makes it look like someone has demons.
