  Here&apos;s the official instructions on how to build a cellar dallas:<br><br>Any fully-enclosed room at or under 7x7x7 blocks in size may be counted as a cellar by the game. While wooden doors count for enclosing cellars, rough doors do not. Cellars do not need to be underground to work, however since sunlight levels can affect cellar effectiveness, it may be easier to dig an underground cellar than to create an aboveground one. <br><br>Any blocks may be used to create a cellar, however for maximum effectiveness dirt, brick and stone blocks (such as packed dirt or cobblestone) should be used. <br><br>The higher the outside temperature is, the more the building material matters. Mixing material types will reduce the effectiveness of the cellar depending on how much non-dirt, non-stone or non-brick blocks are used.

  Tips<br>1. You need to seal the cellar properly like no holes at all, you need to seal off everything like that ladder, just put a hay block or a trapdoor over it to be counted as sealed<br>2. You can use animal fat or bee&apos;s wax to &quot;seal&quot; a crock, it significantly increases the shelf life from 5 days to 50 days depending on the temperature and if you put it in a cellar it can last to a year or more<br>3. You can just press with the watering can and it will keep pouring, it also slightly waters the adjacent block so you dont have to keep refilling it as often.<br>4. You can add more ingredients in the cooking pot to get more servings, maximum is 6 servings so 6 of each type of ingredient you put, but a crock can only hold 4 servings.<br>5. Also sadly the iron sword you made can only be used by the black guard class, but an iron falx is a good alternative, You can&apos;t throw it like a spear but unlike the spear it does more melee damage and has faster attack speed.<br>6. Also yes iron veins are huge even decent ones like the one i found, they can give you like a full inventory worth of iron, so it really is rewarding to prospect and hunt ores.<br>7. Iron plated armor in this game isn&apos;t good it looks cool but it turns you into a clunky slow mess, also you can&apos;t use healing poultices while wearing it, It&apos;s better to just make chainmail, or scale armor which is the in-between being slightly more durable then chainmail and slightly faster then plate, you can still use poultices but the healing is reduced.

  Your hunger bar isn&apos;t glitched, eating proper meals prevents it from going down for a set amount of time based on how much you eat.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=El9FS99oKkc&amp;t=135">2:15</a> Terra Preta used to generate like clay deposits, but it got replaced by high fertility soil as the best &apos;natural spawn&apos; dirt. terra preta is crafted now instead with compost, charcoal, and bonemeal. if you&apos;re going to want it for farming, you&apos;ll need to let a lot of excess food purposely rot to make enough compost. it is very much a late-game resource.

  Looking back at all of the amazing Minecraft builds you have made through the years, I can&apos;t even imagine how absolutely insane your builds are going to be in Vintage Story.<br>The amount of detailing possible.. whew..!<br><br>edit: anvil man

  The guide book tells you what size a cellar can be and what it needs to be made of. &nbsp;It doesn&apos;t have to be underground, it&apos;s just often easier to do that early game. Unmodded crocks only store 4 meals but your cooking pot can hold 6. So 2 full pots will fill 3 crocks. &nbsp;Just make sure the ingredients are placed in the pot in the same order if you use 2 types of veggie or veggies and fruit. The cellar is vital to food longevity. I think you know this, &nbsp;but for those reading that don&apos;t, &nbsp;it&apos;s good to have a variety of meal types so that you are increasing your nutrition in most areas and this will increase your health and how long you stay full. Pressing &apos;C&apos; will show you your nutrition levels as well as your body temperature.
