70 years old and 9 weeks post op  from deep plane face and neck lift.  It took me until this week to be able to go out and about.   For me the swelling was crazy.   Everyone is different.  I’m loving my results so far.

You both look amazing! I’m recovering from deep plane neck/ lower face lift. 😊Still on the triangle pillow and can’t wait to sleep flat. It hasn’t been a walk in the park but I wish I’d done it 10 years ago. My UK surgeon was Marc Pacifico - past president of BPAS- who I totally recommend and trust. 💗

I think the real reason why doctors are encouraging patients to get facelifts early, is because they are anticipating you will get at least 2 in your lifetime. The earlier you start, the more you will get. It's just about money

i’ve heard from albert plastic surgery that choosing the right surgeon and having realistic expectations can make a huge difference with facelift surgery. the recovery part of this video is probably what more people need to hear about tho, especially how much preparation it actually takes.

Cat Sandler! You had a sore throat because of the anesthesia……I had a super sore throat when I had my tummy tuck.  It hurt so badly for days after.

Don’t forget: when cosmetic surgery first began, doctors required a psychological screening as a prerequisite.

I had a lower face and neck facelift , a lower and upper blefaropasty last year at 63 in Spain.  It cost 10,000 euros and the results are natural but effective.  Here we are hospitalized for two days and it is so safe bc you are monitored constantly and kept on intravenous pain killers.   The worse pain was on my heels right after surgery bc there was no cushion for feet  on operating table.  My throat also hurt bc of tube. The anesthesia was just great and I woke up rested and uplifted.  The eyes hurt for 12 hours but  it was bearable.  I did feel I had made a mistake at the time bc of inflammation and bruising.  Once out of hospital I didn't even open the pain killer box .  A week later once bandages and stitches came out I went out for errands and a light walk.  No pain but lots of bruising.  I started linfatic drainage treatment and post surgery physiotherapy and that according to my surgeon made the difference.  He was so surprised on my fast  recovery despite my age.  By the way I've been on HRT for 4 years before surgery and I think that was also helpful.  I kept the fascia massages for a year and now I don't feel anything strange anywhere were sutures were .  My only regret not getting a fat graft transfer.   I recently got a Radiesse treatment to finish up this journey. I look 10 years younger and happy that I was brave enough to do this.  <br>My advice, prepare your body several months before, healthy diet low on sugar , exercise, meditation,  massages on face, neck and body to have relaxed unpuffy muscles and joints.  Hyperbaric chamber sessions are great before but totally necessary afterwards.  Avoid stress and excess activity two weeks before and after.  Important DO NOT take collagen powder for two months post surgery bc it can cause fibrosis on areas of sutures.
