  Khazan is one of the first games where every player can go “would” to at least one boss.

  Reese in top spot is all i care for. That fight still sends chills down my spine. It's such a sad encounter.

  Y'know for a being whose scales can drive dragonkin into a berserk frenzy, Hismar really does get tired a lot.

  I'm gonna be honest, Kahzan has probably the best roster out of ANY game I've ever played. Not a single dud.

  Fun fact about Reese: You can parry her magic bolts back at her. You can also do this to Ozma's second phase blasts when he flies into the sky and fires 4 of them at you followed by a big one, you just can't parry the big ones. Reese was already my favorite boss, but the ability to counter everything she does made it feel even more like a tragic dance, and it was far more balanced when you parried the magic.

  The first Berserker khazan have a new home in the souls like collection right alone with Elden ring, Sekiro, Lies of P and Nioh 2.

  Finished the game thrice with a greatsword. Then I fought all the bosses with dual wield and a spear on NG++. Now I&apos;m on the way with a new character using a spear. So, my top is mostly from a greatsword user&apos;s perspective:<br>1. Reese - ost, movement, style, combos, phases - everything perfect.<br>2. Maluca - killed him like 50-60 times (mostly for the set), very fun to use reflection on his attacks.<br>3. Princess Ilyna - very wide attack windows when she&apos;s in magic phase (like, you can just go straight behind her when she&apos;s casting the triple arrow thing, and ALL the time she&apos;s casting, she&apos;s also open to be attacked), beautiful melee phase.<br>4. Hismar - idk, this is just great to parry his attacks, very satisfying.<br>5. Ozma - a little too many different attacks, but he&apos;s the final boss after all, and the last phase is epic.<br>6. Viper - good entry boss.<br>7. Shactuca - fighing big things in Souls games is almost always very annoying, and this was just a good fight.<br>8. Volbaino - funny to let him throw his nail and then NOT to let him have it by breaking his stance and exhausting :)<br>9. Elamein - a lot of people hate her, but I think she&apos;s great. The game teaches you about the stance in this fight and what the difference between stance and boss stamina is. If you are breaking her stance (i.e., by brink guarding shield attack), you can easily start long combos and exhaust her, with even more damage and brutal attacks.<br>10. Blade Phantom - good tutorial boss, all about brink guards and timings.<br>11. Trokka - annoying if you are not familiar with how to chase the mage boss (with gs). Once you understand, the boss is as good as Blade Phantom, even though not very difficult.<br>12. Yetuga - the first boss, and not the worst one, with some surprise attacks (which you could skip the first time you fought it).<br>13. Rangkus - a lot of delayed attacks, not a very pleasant first experience, and a boring second phase with plenty of AOE attacks. But it&apos;s actually great boss to learn how to use reflection.<br>14. Skalpel - hated his delayed attacks, and even now I am not very good with them. Interesting second phase, though. And you can chain counterstrikes with him, which is fun.<br>15. Aratra - the most forgettable boss in the game. Even so, the spider has destructible parts (this is good) and THE MOST delayed burst attack (this is bad).<br>16. Bellerian - actually too much running AND teleport for the second phase, but you can stop her transition by attacking her with the javelin (which I didn&apos;t know when I fought her).

  Tips for Elamain: Reflection is a big help, use it on her shield charge attacks as the timing is generous and leaves her open more for damage to both health and stamina. you can also use it on her three hit combo, the one she starts the fight with, the third hit is easy to counter. Secondly, use potent blows, particularly running ones after the end of her big attacks like the lightning slam as you can deal big stamina damage.
