I complete forgot to mention size measurements of each mask, BUT the pegboard holes are 1 inch apart. You can freeze frame the video and get a good idea of the dimensions.

In the mid to late 90s when I was about 15-17 years old, I bought up a bunch of the first type masks from Wal-Mart. Using a wood burner, I filled in the holes using one mask as a plastic donor. I then got a drill and drilled the holes more accurately. Using water and paint I then blackwashed the masks. I then created a 3 way strap for each. Sold maybe 10 of them on ebay for about 50 bucks a piece. I had no prior experience doing anything like it, I needed money to buy a Highlander Sword and the idea doing that to make money seemed to fit.

My little brother went as Jason for Halloween 2017, and our Mom managed to turn the cheap $1 mask into a damn close movie-accurate Jason mask. The holes were still inaccurate, but for a DIY mask, it was extremely impressive.
