I’m trying to decide whether to not to finish the song 🤔

Edit 2: Regarding the “I washed this shirt twice” comment- The video took 3 days to record, but across a period of 2 weeks, so I kept having to search through laundry to find the shirt again haha. I probably worded it weird!

This feels like some popular Microsoft software from a parallel universe...

My dad passed away 3 months ago. He left me with a TON of vintage software disks and electronics. I'm looking forward to the journey of going through all that and his legacy. I wonder if he had that disk you got there.

This is cool to see again. I was at Microsoft back in those days and I remember this. It actually goes MUCH further back to MS-DOS even before Windows was released. There was a strong music interest at Microsoft, much of it developed for the early MSX boxes that were only ever released in Asia in the 1980s. The Head of Product Development at Microsoft back in those days was also a dIrector of the Jimi Hendrix Foundation and I recall had one of the world's first ever home digital studios - long before DAWs.

Back in the day, we '90s tech nerds used to toss these programs straight into the trash without a second thought.
Today, they might actually have their purpose.

I love the fact that somebody tried to make "Industrial Rock" using quaint General Midi sounds. Like, they really tried.

I'm not a musician but a software developer. The amount of skill you needed to create this is nuts. Especially in the 90s where you didn't had all those free ready to use code libraries and high tech programming languages that take so much work from us these days.
Kudos to the MS software engineer who wrote this beautiful piece of software. I'd really like to dig the source code.

BTW: Banger Song!
