  When the girls leave , The hotels will close . The problem is the Thai govt visa  system  . That drives the expats out  . Visas are everything  .  Also the greed from the girls  , that has increased as soon as they got cellphones , They knew how the girl down the road could earn more  . Greed is the problem .   I have been traveling to Pattaya for 15 years, and I know someone who has gone there at least since the 1990’s.. He is skipping town these days, and I noticed a shift on my last trip. Service has go e down, and prices have gone up.. The people who are still going there are been shaken down for the people who are not anymore.. Beer which used to be 95 THB just a few years ago, go now for 120 and more. BF have gone up, if you even find people willing to indulge the idea of joining, service fees are also not what they used to be.. In general, you get a fraction of what you did get just a little ago, and you pay a fortune..

  I love Thailand and often go to pattaya to party. But now I feel its not worth it anymore. The greed is bothering me. Its not fun as before bec everyone is tryin to rip you of. If prices dont go down . I will stop going there.

  Prices are up, people aren’t spending like they used to, same story everywhere. Philippines is horrible compared to what it used to be. I’m about to relocate to either Thailand or Cambodia.

  I visited Pattaya for the first time in 2024 and I could kick myself for not having visited all those years ago.I`m a middle age woman so I do not look at the bar girls or visit a bar for anything than to have fun.Im an experienced traveller and as said, I could kick myself for not having visited sooner, loved it.<br>Now the scams and ripoffs,I did not get scammed. Ripoffs? honestly I don&apos;t mind paying $1 more for a drink than a local if it makes sense, because if I&apos;m to start counting pennies and comparing what a local paid with what I paid, then I don&apos;t have to be there in the first place.

  I walk around Pattaya everyday so many bars etc for sale, lease. Quality tourist of 20 years ago just not here. There are often more ladies in the bar than customers.. Not everyone comes here for sex..

  And yet more bar coplexs are being built ?....a certain vlogger keeps overseeing new bars ....whenever I visit in &nbsp;Feb they are always half empty ....makes U wonder if something else is going on ....can&apos;t b making money ?

  There&apos;s over 70 bars and clubs now streaming on youtube, Kick and facebook, more are appearing each month,, especially in the past 6 months. The streams show many bars a re empty and dead. Some of their main income is now from the stream they have the girls begging for drinks on.. Bars from LK Metro, Myth Night, Tree Town, Soi Buakhao, Made In Thailand, Soi6, Chaiyppon - &nbsp;all have girls dancing, begging for drinks and some guys actually think the girl they are buying drinks for are their real girl friends on stream.. &nbsp;Some bars are actually cheating the viewing figures by using bots and viewbotting to make the stream look bigger than it is.. Streams with around or over 100 viewers are view botting, when in reality they have now more than 15 taking part in the chat and viewership..... Bars such as Wild 69, Miyu, Miso Pattaya OH Bar are prime examples of view botting..

  I say with experience of atleast 25 years travelling thailand, earlier it was very welcoming, good customer service now it is only about scam atleast in Pattaya, beach freelancers are the worst 😂
