To be a winner, one should be ready to face the fear and pain of failing. <br>Maybe most people stay average not because they lack talent, but because they re afraid of the pain that comes with becoming better. Failure hurys. Rejection hurts but there&apos;s another kind of pain nobody talks about. It&apos;s the pain of watching someone else live the life you were too afraid to fight for. Which pain is worse: failing or never trying

Biggest takeaway for me: high performance has a lot less to do with feeling motivated and a lot more to do with learning how to act when you don’t feel like it. Detach enough to make hard decisions clearly, expect boredom instead of running from it, deliberately work on your weaknesses, and stop needing every step to feel comfortable.

This is a reminder that winning starts in the mind long before anyone sees the results.

The strongest mind isn&apos;t emotionless. It knows when to feel, when to think and when to act

This is pretty close to what Taren Veyra writes about, how we experience reality through our own mental filters rather than completely objectively.

I kept thinking my biggest problem was overthinking, but after reading Victor Kane’s The Unbreakable Mind, I realized how much of it came from trying to control things that were never mine to control. That realization was crazy. It sounds almost too obvious until you actually start applying it. Insane how much mental energy we waste fighting reality.

Most people will always be average regardless of how great they are at what they do because that&apos;s what average means

The distinction between affective and cognitive empathy is where most people break. Feeling everything makes you a sponge; calculating everything makes you an architect. Masterclass breakdown.

Talent does exist, but only the ones ready to pay their own price to become or learn something get to the finish line.

Not before I take what’s mine and when I say what’s mine what’s mine is for my purpose to you just gave me a thought
