Hey Derek, I wanted to tell you that while I was deployed this year and missing my home and family, watching your videos gave me a laugh and had me feeling better. I really appreciate all that you do and how hard you work to bring us content. It means more to I’m sure a lot of folks than a guy could ever imagine.

I’m 63 years old and had pretty much given up on my two chevelle projects and watching your channel gives me a little kick-in the butt to get back in my garage and off the couch, so thank you very much for great content and you are probably the hardest working person on YouTube and you are great dad too.

As a teen(75 now) used to ride my bike to local junkyard and just walked in. No one cared, no thought of potential liability issues. I would randomly pick out a car, worked on it until it started and moved. Only a few inches but moved. Enough time left to get home and cleaned up for dinner. That was our entertainment back then.

What I dont understand is how you can be so care-free. If I was trying to do a 1400 mile road trip and my rad sprung a leak and I lost 3rd gear, I would not be driving the back roads of Kansas. I guess some people are just built different.
