The thing people don't get about neutrality is that it takes a huge frickin army to stay neutral. Sweden tearing down its army didn't start happening until after the cold war

Equipment is important but if the soldier is poorly trained and unmotivated then better equipment may not be enough.

Belated note: no, the discarded green tubes does not weigh 12.5 kilos. The unfired NLAW does, the entire unit, including munition. The tube itself weighs less than 6 kilos.

When I did my military service in Sweden, the officers did not say “if” the Russians tried to invade; they said “when.” Everybody knew who the enemy was.

The grg m/48 has a rifled tube but HEAT rounds do not work well when they spin.
