Bro, that's the triple 7. There will never be a day in war that this guy won't be useful.

M777 being considered big and bulking is hilarious to hear as an artillery man.
Considering the many previous artillery pieces.

No one with any fires experience would ever dream of calling an M777 a "useless weapon" in any context. Towed artillery absolutely still has a place of the modern battlefield.

I think you mean "Shoot & scoot" not "scoot & shoot". That is, once it has fired (shoot), it has to move (scoot) before counterbattery fire hits it.

A howitzer is difficult to totally destroy without a direct hit. Counter battery often only kills the crew operating it. The howitzer used with the drones as a spotter is a great combination. A towed howitzer is slower to set up and breakdown for transport than a self-propelled but once it is hooked to the truck, they can move great distances very fast. Also, armies always have lots of trucks, so if a truck breaks down, do you simply talk with a different one. The weakness of self-propelled howitzer is that they are slower to move great distances, and cannot be moved with a helicopter or an airplane unless it’s in a very big airplane.

The Ukrainian Military is generally smarter and more creative than the russians. Even outnumbered five-to-one, I think they will win this. Continued NATO support is crucial. I tip my hat to Ukrainian ingenuity. Enjoyed the video. Thanks.

That was my Sections' gun when I was still in. It was a good gun! 155mm rounds, but only slightly heavier than the 105mm... You could bulldog the barrel around. I always thought with how accurate it was, you could use the inert training rounds like slugs... It would origami a tank, or punch a hole in a wall or roof for something, or someone else a way into a fortified stronghold (with less, to no collateral damage)...

The US M777 is the world's most accurate howitzer.

If Pootsie can survive long enough, maybe he can have some trebuchet build. The West would have no analog. 😁😁😁

The M777 Howitzer is a towed, 155mm artillery piece manufactured by BAE Systems. (That's a British company).
