  In Poland when someone sneezes we say „na zdrowie” which roughly translates to „per good health” as people back then knew that you’re spitting the germs out doing so

  the hurricane naming thing instantly reminded me of the time in 2nd grade when hurricane andrew was happening, i had a classmate named andrew and when we all declared him a hurricane he just started wildly spinning w his arms out, it was hilarious

  I had a teacher in high school that actually refused to let us say &apos;God bless you&apos; in her class because of the superstitious/religious origins. She would call somebody out every time they reflexively did it. The day that one kid popped out with &quot;Gesundheit&quot;! after a sneeze, the look on her face as she had to sit there and say nothing was epic.
