Major Partagaz is such a fleshed out character. Love his sublte quirks and mannerisms he does like 'Calibrate your enthusiasm' or 'Thesis Please', among others he has. But this scene really does a great job of portraying the subtle ominous vibe from Partagaz with his growing frustration with Lagret and Heert.

I like that Partagaz just genuinely wants to know what the problem is. He isn’t looking for someone to blame, which is what everyone is thinking and why they’re hesitant to speak, he just wants to know how to fix this problem so that they can better do their jobs.

"I see a variety of causes"
"PICK ONE!"

I love Partagaz's frustration here. He just wants to get to the bottom of the problem and sort it out. One of the brilliances of the ISB scenes is that, divorced from the Empire, it really could just be almost any other corporate office. I've been in plenty of meetings like this where people are just speaking in meaningless evasive jargon because they're all looking for someone to blame, or trying to avoid blame themselves.

Partagaz is one of my favorite Imperial characters we have gotten in a while. He genuinely feels like he could be someone's boss who is under a lot of pressure but he very rarely shouts or screams. He also applauds the victories of his agents and genuinely listens to them in the face of strained logistics. He also seemed to have a bit of a hesitant moral backbone when he heard about the Imperial plans for Ghorman. People like Partagaz are shining examples of how the Empire isn't just run by one dimensional mustache twirling cartoon villains. Very well written character and Anton Lessar plays him to perfection.

Lonnie's obviously just trying to get the ISB to take it easier on the Rebels, considering his real allegiance, but he ironically enough helped the Empire figure out its problem, hence why Partagaz praised him as a model ISB agent.

I love how this actually portrays the tenseness in important meetings in bureaucracy or corporate life. And the sidebars between supervisors are so realistic

Partagaz's entire job is shouting at people about their failures. I love it.
