Gorst was placed under the protection of the Imperial Military, not the ISB. Given how quickly he was eliminated once outside ISB jurisdiction, the Empire would likely suspect the mole is deeply embedded within the military. Meanwhile, Lonni had his “friend” quietly represent the ISB’s interests, keeping himself out of the spotlight—a calculated move. It’s the kind of decision that’s kept him alive as an undercover agent.

“Calibrate your enthusiasm” is going into my lexicon just like “Thesis, please” did.

gotta think that Partagaz was still irked over Syril's ridiculous enthusiasm for his Ghorman mission, hence that scathing remark at Heert.

This scene is a perfect example of why Andor is such a good show. On the surface it just looks like another small, irrelevant ISB talk but it actually sets up something big in the episode. Partagaz tells Lonni that Gorst is now no longer under the ISB and has been relocated to the military. Lonni tells Heert to deal with the brief and the planning of their assignment so he has time to go away and alert Luthen about this. Luthen then sends the signal to Bix and Cassian which gave them the go-ahead to target Gorst. This helps Bix overcome her demon in the most literal of senses, getting her back on his feet while also solving Cassian's problem with Luthen.

I love how Dedra's old coworker, Heert thinks he's him just because he got a seat at the table. Bro is gonna need her help just like she said. He should know better than to piss of the likes of Dedra

Kinda smart of Lonni to tell Heert "You take lead on this". If anything useful leaks, he can point the finger at Heert and go "I had barely anything to do with it" :D
