  RIP Jiro Dan<br><br>Also, the reason why Aki disappeared from episodes 27 to her death in episode 37 was due to scheduling conflicts as her actress was in another show.

  As a character, Go was such an improvement of Shin and Dan. I think his relationship with Captain Ibuki was the highlight for me. Shin Kishida was also a great side character when the show decided to use him well.

  Apparently, Ken and Aki&apos;s actors couldn&apos;t stay for the last part of the show, so they decided to kill them off to give them somewhat of a send off, instead of never mentioning them again like most shows did at the time.<br><br>Knowing this, I wonder if the scripts were hastily rewritten, which could explain the lower quality of the final part.
