Oh my God, I totally feel Emily's Asian dad story. My dad was Japanese and an engineer, so trying to do math homework with him was excruciating. Every time I got something wrong, he gave me thus look that clearly said, "You have personally dishonored my ancestors, and I am going to lock you in a room with a short sword and I expect you to do the honorable thing."

Fun Fact: Cold drinks actually heat you up because your body has to heat up again to 37°C. The reverse is actually also true, so Connor was right with his instinct.
