  Tested both sets at the shop. Seriously there is no clear difference in performance, yet the Sonos costs a lot more. Sonos probably spent more money on marketing than to provide more for the huge price difference. Needless to say, I bought the Samsung 990F.

  Got the Q990B years back and its just an incredible system for the price (its always on sale, get it then). In dolby atmos i rarely go past volume 18/100 and its crisp, punchy and weighty.

  Just got the 990F to go with my Samsung S95F 83 inch TV.. Watching Netflix is now insane.. If you have a Samsung TV definitely get the 990F.

  I have had both   I ended up with the SONOS ARC ULTRA and 2 Sub4's and ERA 300's for rears    never had an issue whatsoever   cheers all

  i bought the Samsung here in germany for only 750 bucks vs sonos will the full set 2000 bucks. For me its the better price/performance...the Samsung is here the King. Worth it !

  J'ai pris la Samsung 995f avec une ps5 pro  et un Panasonic 820 le résultat est vraiment immersif je recommande fortement cette barre Samsung le son est clair percutant et vraiment une sensation cinema haut de game . Elle decode tout format audio du dolby digital, atmos, true hd , dtsx , dts hd masters, haut résolution 5.1,7.1ainsi que le dts 96/24 bits pour les musiques d'ailleurs c'est parfait que se soit en film en jeu ou en musique tout est parfait.

  I already have a Samsung Q950A soundabar, but I'm waiting until a HDMI 2.2 compatible Samsung soundbar. When that becomes available, then I move my current soundbar to my bedroom and replace it with a Samsung Q1000F (or whatever enumeration Samsung comes up with).

  What truly insane is, that in Hungary, where i live, the Sonos system displayed here costs 3387USD on 2026.04.29 and on the same day, Samsung Q990F costs 1152USD.........  Is the Sonos THREE TIMES better?! Even the brand new Q990H costs 1406USD only. So it's interesting.
