Also, Prince of Tennis DokiSaba has two heroines: Tsugumi has 24 love interests and Ayaka has 20 with no overlap, they are best friends and both have distinct personalities. Got a switch release recently and also got an English language option too!

I didn't know there were otome games with multiple heroines, it just never occurred to me that this was a possibility

Carnivore/herbivore is, to put it simply, basically a way of saying "active" or "passive" when it comes to flirting/falling in love in Japan. So him turning a carnivore means he would openly and actively pursue you instead of waiting for the heroine to realize his feelings with more subtle gestures.

There's an indie game called 7 Kingdoms: The Princess Problem you can get over on itch. It's completed. It has (if memory serves) 10 LIs, routes, 3 of which are women, a couple of marriages of convenience, murder, civil war, and a lot more. It's one of those where you pick your activities for the day to build up skills with various set pieces in-between. More interesting is that the MCs all have different backgrounds and starting abilities and personalities depending on which kingdom you choose to come from--from sheltered princess to pirate to tomboy to scholar to court lady to widow who may have murdered her husband. I also want to say it's one of those where you don't get to see your own character, but I never really felt the lack because each one felt so different.

The only thing I dislike about multiple heroines is when they lock the FL out of the other FL's LI routes 😂 which defeats the whole purpose of playing it for different FLs. Cause I will ship the girl with the other guy on the first FL's route and be bummed he's not romanceable by the second FL, especially when they could've been cute together.

I like that having multiple heroines allows you to have different personalities as the mc, you can pick who you resonate with the most ❤

If i remember correctly, the Blood in Roses (shall we date) has two mcs. I may be wrong but I remember being amazed to see two mcs in one otome game (as a teenager)

You know? For some reason, I never have the right mindset to play an otome with multiple heroines, but some of the games you introduced do sound really interesting, so I do want to give some of them a try!. ^^

I‘ve played Norn9 when it came out in English actually!! I really enjoyed it and it even made me enjoy characters whose trope I was not a fan of at that point haha. I looved Mikoto as a heroine. She felt very refreshing to me and I‘m pretty sure I enjoyed her story with all 3 LIs. The background story is very interesting as well so I‘d definitively recommend checking it out

I played him smile and me and didnt notice the girls arent the same! I only finished Wataru route and started on the blonde. It is a shame we don't see the girl face while we play except in CG so its normal not to notice.

The first game actually introduces both girls equally with one LI not like the new anime with a girl chief and the other is clearly a short side story.
