Arguably, the moment of transition from the Andor world to the Skywalker saga of the original trilogy is when Vader lights up his saber. Up to that point there had not been a single light saber through all of Andor and Rogue One. The foundation was laid by Andor and the boots on the ground so that Luke, Leah, and the gang can have their story.

Fun fact, when K2 slaps Andor, it was improv'd, Andor putting his hand over his mouth isn't because it got slapped, he's trying to hide his laugh

The quality is absolutely through the roof and is probably the only show I’ve ever seen that’s left me with that feeling of missing out when it’s over

This movie was magical in that it made both A New Hope and Revenge Of The Sith better. For A New Hope, it explained how there was such a fatal flaw in the Death Star and how the rebels were able to find it so quickly in the plans. For Sith, it explained how the Death Star took so long to complete after we saw it far along in construction some twenty years before the events of Rogue One and A New Hope.<br>Similarly, the Andor series further elevated Rogue One. I can’t think of another such achievement where new material elevates existing films to such a degree. Tony Gilroy is a master writer.

To answer a few of your questions/observations later in the video:<br><br>1. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEzSpEulles&t=3766">1:02:46</a> In the Andor show, the KX units were only ever hit with shots from pistols. They were never hit with military-grade rifles like the one that killed that KX unit earlier in the movie. I'm convinced that the show did this on purpose.<br>2. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEzSpEulles&t=3798">1:03:18</a> Yes that's the guy that Cassian met in prison. His name is Melshi. Good catch!<br>3. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEzSpEulles&t=3812">1:03:32</a> Damn, another good catch. Yes, Luke's callsign was Red 5. This guy dying is why the callsign Red 5 was available and given to Luke in Episode 4<br><br>Anyway, great reaction. Cracking me up as always
